Reorganized closet.

I thought of taking a picture of before I organized my clost but by the time I thought of taking the picture I had dumped everything on the floor so it would have looked like thats how it was before hahaha. Here is a picture of the after. The 1st pic is of my shelves for my linens, pants and shorts. When we first moved in we were told shoes were usually put here.

Miriam, I don't have a lot of shoes anymore but I will be working on slowly building my collection up again. hehehe. shoes are a great way to express your individualism. Im actually surprised they are still on the show rack because Victoria keeps pulling them out to walk around in :). She is developing a fascination for shoes like her mamma hahahaha. Looks like I need another shoe rack to put more of willies shoes on. Yes willie has more shoes than I do. If you notice his boots and other shoes are on the top shelf. He has like 6 pairs of boots and he never throws them out once he buys new boots. They are heavy and stinky hehehehe. Also this is willies side of the closet.

This is my side although willie's pants are on the top shelf.

This is my tie holder. I need another one because I just found a bunch of belts in my dresser. It's very handy and keeps things simple and compact. I think Im going to have one as his and one as hers :)

Here's another pic of the shoe racks. They are two shoe racks combined into one. Victoria wouldn't move so that explains this pic. This is what she looks like when Im lazy and don't do her hair lol.

Tired.

So this week I decided I wasn't going to do anything but stay home and clean or sort through stuff. Well that didn't happen.
On Monday Victoria and I ran around doing random silly things, Tuesday I went to sams club to renew my membership. I went with my Visiting teachers and they live like 20 minutes away so the drive was way longer than it needed to be. It was weird because we were taking a "short" cut but it was not short at all. Leaving from my house to sam's would have taken about 50 minutes but we ended up driving like and hour and 15 minutes and thats not counting the 20 minute drive to there house. We did go through the base, which I prefer not to do because you have to show ID's and it's just annoying. We stopped at the thrift store on base (which wasnt planned, I dont like unplanned things unless Im with family and close girlfriends where we are hanging out all day anyway). The thrift store was a little pricey in my opinion, there were some really nice dishes though, I think they are probably from all over the world. I grab a nice little earing holder for victoria.

I have been trying to find something cute to hold her earrings.

I also found the wall hanging decorative piece which is the same color as a candle holder I have that hangs on the wall. I know exactly what I am going to do with it.

So yeah we were gone all day long and Victoria and I was starving so I grabbed 2 hotdog combos at sams. I bought a few things to send to willie, like those mini cereal boxes, some microwaveable mac and cheese and some cup of noodles. He has access to microwave and they get all the bottle water they want over there.

Oh and I got a request from willie. He asked for some cream soda, but Im weary about sending that because they always ask if there is anything fragile, liquid and something else. So if anyone knows off hand what is or isn't allowed let me know.

So yeah I got home from sam's later than I thought. I picked up mana from the house and we were off to big lots to check out baskets. Didnt find any that were worth it. We then went to Tuesday morning where I was able to find Victoria's halloween costume. She wanted to be a princess and she's obsessed with tinkerbell so I thought the costume was perfect. I will be having a long sleeve shirt under and some leggings. That way her costume is still modest.

I then went to Home, family and personal enrichment. We learned about the latest info they have on H1N1 as it pertains to our county and our schools. We also learned about what should be in a 72 hour emergency kit, which I can say we have in our home. Yay! Then we learned about healthy school lunch alternatives. Lunch meat is bad bad bad apparently. Lots of bacteria and added junk in it so now I probably would buy lunch meat and just buy more chicken and cook it then slice it for sandwiches. Thats alot of work but worth it if he helps my family be healthier.
On Wednesday I met with my visiting teachers so they could give me the monthly message, we made chicken enchiladas and the kids played. Later Mana had scouts and so we went to the church to wait for him. Today I was going to do some stuff but I am just too tired and I need some rest. I'll probably do some running around tomorrow because on saturday I plan on going to a craft fair thing that will be at an old farm that's been around since the 1800's. Anyway thats been our week so far.

Hoooody who.....

Things are going pretty well. I have my good days and my bads days. This sunday, unfortunately I had a bit of a break down at church. Sundays have been my hardest days for quite some time. I think of possibilities and blessings I have been promised as long as Im faithful and continue to live my life in righteousness. I had sharing time on sunday for the first time. I had it all planned out and the kids were involved and I thought this is going to be great. Well I crashed and burned. At least in my mind. Of all the sundays the kids were all behaving very well and very quiet. My mind went blank and I forgot all the activities I was going to do. Yeah so I felt like it was a disaster. Well anyway I ended up crying AFTER church and I was almost out of the door and on my way home but for some reason my Visiting Teacher was everywhere and kept asking how I was doing. Finally my disobedient tears leaked out of my eyes. I was mortified. It was so silly because It wasn't one particular thing that got to me, and I thought All the stresses I had dealt with and taken care of a week or so earlier. Who knows what happened. But I got a blessing and things got better. I got the same answers in my blessing as the answers I have reaceived before. I just need an extra boost another reminder of what I was doing and why. Im getting to know more of the ward which is great. Half of the ward has been there forever and the other half is new like us hahaha, it's funny, but then again a high percentage are military families so it's the norm for this area.

I have organized my closet, which I LOVE. I have shoe racks and I finally got a tie coat hanger thingy that I have all of willies ties on, my belts and my scarves. It saves so much space. I've been looking for different types of baskets but Im not having much luck. In the stores baskets cost so much and if its not expensive its cheapy where it looks like it would fall apart as soon as its touched.
Oh and I bought four 16x20 prints from the distribultion center. One is of nukualofa temple, sydney australia temple, quorum of the twelve and the first presidency. I got the nukualofa temple pic because thats where dad was sealed to pili and ofa and the sydney temple because thats where my siblings and parents were sealed. Thats our family history with temple sealings, although I should get the jordan river and mt timpanogos temple for when my two wonderful sisters were sealed to my awesome brother in laws.

I took some pics of the kids and random ness which is more uplifting and fun. Oh and I was really thinking of trying to go to Canada for christmas but it just doesnt look like that is possible. Tickets are so expensive. But yeah so here are my recentish pics.
