So this is what's been going on lately. The kids have been sick, but recovered within a week so Im happy about that. Thankfully I haven't gotten sick and I hope I don't get sick, mainly because of my calling. I don't like having to have other people do my calling. I missed 1 Sunday and I felt bad but I didn't want to have my sick children at church making other peoples kids sick. Anyway as long as I make it to sunday I'm good.
Mana got the H1N1 mist up the nose thing today. This comes in two doses, as far as I understand it. He said all the kids had it that way. He didn't believe the nurse wasn't going to give him a shot even after she told him it was going to go up his nose. He is really afraid of shots, so Im happy they had this option.
I really need to get our passports renewed. I don't know why I have been puting it off. Our post office doesn't have passport services so I have to drive to another town that I haven't been to before. I think I will do this tomorrow after play group.
I am also working on making a fall center piece. I saw something at walmart and remembered I have several vases that would work really well. Im half way done.
After the kids got better I went through my house and did a scrub down. The kids were primarily sleeping and being sick in the guest room. I wiped everything down and rearranged the room. I also washed all the linens, comforter, pillow case and pillows of every room. I even went as far as to wash carpets. I know I went over board and the thing is it wasn't really because of the kids being sick. I just needed to clean everything out. I also rearranged my room but I'm still trying to figure out where to put some things.
I just realized I don't do updates on Willie. Willie is doing fairly well. He misses home but is focused and is being kept very busy. Two months downs, ten to go. I have been sending him about one care package every week. If any of you have any suggestions on foot care and what creams or treatments work well with tired, cracked feet let me know. Willie's feet have been bothering him due to the very dry weather and having shoes on for so long. I have sent him some massaging insoles, a pumis stone and some lotion specifically for cracked feet. I feel so bad for him.
I just have to say I'm so thankful for the man he his. I'm grateful for a man who is so hard working and willing to do what it takes to take care of his family. He is very thoughtful and is very patient. He's a great dad and the kids adore him. I love this man and I can't wait to have him home. This time is good for us as a family to learn how to appreciate each other more and to focus on our strengths and be more forgiving of our weaknesses.

I love this post. I was wondering how willie was doing. can't wait til you get him back!! That sucks about his feet, do they have pedicure places out there? This post made me miss you alot! I love your playlist!!I am silly but I can't get enough of Katy Perry I have so many of her songs on my playlist (the one I play just at home when cleaning) I have been cleaning my house too and we cleaned teh garage and reorganized. I think its just something I like to do before the holidays so I know I gave the house the once over and can decorate and be happy, kind of like in spring to usher in the new weather, I do it then too and throw everything away.
So good to hear about all the things happening. I am not worried at all about the n1h1 thingy, even though I suspect I should be. I need to take Miaya for her yearly checkup so I suppose I should ask about such things then. I am glad Willie is doing good too. It must be tough being over there. Good grief. Anything he can't get easily over there that you can send I think would be fun for him to get in a care package. :D
My friend gave me some lotion that works on everything and it is smooth and not sticky.
I will order some from her and it even smells good for a man or woman.
Your marble things are lovely. There is just something about them that makes you like them.
Willie is not coming home until after a year or can he come home for a couple of weeks?
